is a town located in Suntō District, Shizuoka, Japan.
   As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 37,965 and a density of 1,432.10 persons per km². The total area is 26.51 km².

Overview

Nagaizumi is located south of Mt. Fuji, and north of Suruga Bay. Special products of Nagaizumi are melons and white Welsh (a type of green onion). Nagaizumi's sister city is Wanganui, New Zealand. The city's official flower is the azalea.
